PRINT METHODS

My goal is to be able to provide classic stationery printing options, as well as keep up with the trends. Read on below to learn about all of the different print methods Sugarhouse Stationery offers.

CLASSIC DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital printing is our standard print method as it allows for infinite color combinations on almost every paper stock as well as a crisp, bold and readable print. Every digitally printed piece has super crisp, saturated color that allows the eye to dance around the page.

LETTERPRESS PRINTING

Letterpress printing is a historic printing method that was invented by Johannes Gutenberg in the mid-15th century. It was the primary printing method until about the 20th century. A metal plate is created based on the finalized graphics, design, and text. The plate is then inked and pressed into the paper to create the beautiful, luxurious impressions of your stationery.

THERMOGRAPHY

Thermography is a print process that uses resin and ink to create the print. The resin and ink are laid on top of each other and then are exposed to heat which fuses them together to raise the lettering and graphics. Thermography creates a luxurious, elegant, and interesting feeling to your stationery and is available in over 36 colors!
